The Iowa Supreme Court has revoked the license of a Cedar Rapids lawyer after he violated professional rules by stealing money from his employer. James H. Flitz became a Rapids attorney in 2009 after 11 years as an assistant in Cedar Falls City and 10 years at the Iowa State Bar.

Jim was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and has been practicing law in Iowa for over forty years. He worked in private practice for 35 years before joining the City Attorney's Office in June 1986.
