The 16th Annual Solar Saturday event will feature Cedar Amateur Astronomers own solar expert, Carl Bracken. He will discuss our current Solar Cycle, #25. While a NASA and NOAA consensus panel assembled in 2019 to predict what Solar Cycle #25 would be like, our sun it turns out had different plans!
Join us on Saturday August 23rd 2026 for a look at some of the details used in the consensus result, along with the one team that used a completely different approach that delivered a much more accurate forecast, how all of this activity has impacted our world, and what comes next.
