The room was built in 1914 to keep quiet. We have other plans. Last Friday of the month, The Ideal Theater & Bar turns its floor into the loudest room in Cedar Rapids: house into bass, riddim, and techno, a system tuned to rattle your ribs, and a 21+ crowd with room to actually move. Doors at 9 PM, 21 and up. $15 at the door, or RSVP and make it $10.
