Free Fallin' - A Tom Petty Tribute
Free Fallin' - A Tom Petty Tribute
Nov 7 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM
The Olympic South Side Theater 1202 3rd St SE, Suite 200 Cedar Rapids, IA 52401 (319) 214-0392Overview
Some songs do not belong to a single generation.
They are played with the windows down. They become the soundtrack to first road trips, late-night drives, summer evenings, and friendships that somehow pick up exactly where they left off.
For one night, those songs come to life at The Olympic.
Free Fallin' celebrates the music of Tom Petty with the energy, musicianship, and spirit that made his catalog one of the most enduring in American rock. From American Girl and Refugee to Learning to Fly, I Won't Back Down, Runnin' Down a Dream, and Free Fallin', it is an evening built around songs that everyone knows and everyone sings.
There are tribute concerts that recreate a performance. This one recreates a feeling.
